WORSHIPPING WITH CHILDREN

At Saint Andrew, children of all ages are welcome as integral members of the body of Christ, and we welcome the sounds and activity that accompany them! We have children’s Spark activity worksheets for non-readers and readers. The worship service has children’s message time where children gather in front. Plus, there are a few spaces and activities designed for children to experience and participate in worship:

At the doors of the Sanctuary, kids can pick up a busy bag to take into worship. These bags include crayons and paper, a book, blocks or a puzzle, and a foam communion set.

The nursery is available for families with infants and toddlers as an additional space as needed. There are books, toys, rocking chairs, and a changing table.

A Prayground is located at the front of the Sanctuary that is intended for families with infants to early elementary students, recognizing that small kids are often more engaged when they can see what’s going on. Families can enjoy extra floor space for children that may need to stand or move around and soft and quiet toys for busy hand.

WELCOME TO SAINT ANDREW PASTOR JACK!

In late July we came together as a church and listened to our Call Committee make their recommendation for a new pastor at Saint Andrew. We, as a congregation, prayerfully considered the recommendation and overwhelmingly gave our vote to accept the Call Committee’s recommendation. We are thrilled to announce that God has answered our prayers and Pastor Jack Busche has officially accepted the call to serve as our next pastor. Please join us in giving a joyful and heartfelt welcome to Pastor Jack Busche, his wife Sidney, and their daughter, Kit as they join our Saint Andrew family. Pastor Jack’s first day preaching will be Sunday, September 7.

ANNUAL CHURCH PICNIC - SEPT 14

All are invited to gather in the Fellowship Hall and on the Celebration Patio for the annual church picnic. Pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, potluck dishes will be served. Enjoy fellowship, games, bounce house, a cake walk, yard games and face painting! If you would like to bring a dish to pass or a cake for the cake walk, please check out the display in the Narthex with pull-tags for needed items.
