Pastor Jack Busche
Pastor
Pastor Jack Busche, a Stratford native, attended Princeton University and Luther Seminary. He interned at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Grand Marais, MN. After graduating with his MDiv in June 2021, six days later, he married his best friend Sydney. In August 2021, Jack began his first call at Grace Lutheran Church in Gwinn, MI. They got their yellow lab, Annie, that fall, and welcomed their daughter, Kit, in December 2024. They enjoy hiking and camping as a family. They are looking forward to being closer to both family and many of their friends in the area and getting to know his Saint Andrew family as he begins his ministry with us!
Joy Mitchell
Secretary
Joy serves as the receptionist and congregational secretary. Her work is centered around developing and managing parish publications, coordination of worship participants, and maintenance of church records.

Jonathan Smith
Director of Worship and Music
A Wausau native, Jonathan has led music at worship services since 2013. Before returning to Wausau, he and his wife, Allycia, lived in the Twin Cities. In his personal time he loves to play piano, guitar, violin, mandolin, sing and along with spending quality time with his wife and their two cats.

Facility Coordinator
Patrick lives to serve. From event set-up to building maintenance he uses vast experience and knowledge to keep the Saint Andrew facility clean and running smoothly to help support the mission of the congregation.

Deb Yellow Thunder
Bookkeeper
Deb, joined the Saint Andrew team as our bookkeeper in January 2025. She enjoys spending time with her family, camping and outdoor life.
LEADERS
Leadership is provided by the Ministry Teams of Saint Andrew. Each ministry focuses on one aspect of our life together. One person from each of these ministry teams is appointed as a liaison to the Church Council. The Church council gives general oversight to the life and activities of the congregation, designates benevolent gifts to be shared locally and globally, and supports the work of the pastors and staff.
