Can You lend a hand to help the week run smoothly?
+ Serve as a group leader or support person during the week of VBS (The counselors teach!)
+ Host two Crossways camp staff in your home for the week, providing a place to sleet & breakfast.
+ Make an evening meal for Crossways staff for one night (host at home or at church)
+Help with planning and preparing logistics for the week.
+Sponsor a child who can’t afford VBS
+Donate supplies for Day Camp (arts and crafts supplies, food, etc…)

Pictures are part of our church and help to provide a historical record of events and participants at those events. Thank you for participating in preserving that history! Please note that the names of the participants are for historical records and will not be published without proper permission from the the individuals in the photograph.

The Celebration Patio

The Celebration Patio is located on the North Portico of the Fellowship Hall and West of the Chapel.
It is an area for prayerful reflection and contemplation but is also an area were we our celebrate ministry activities in full action!

There are many reasons to create a permanent celebratory remembrance to uplift and share with your fellow members of Saint Andrew:

+ Celebrate Family / + Family Births
+ Baptism of children or grandchildren / + Weddings of children or grandchildren
+ Your Special Wedding Anniversary or that of your Parents
+ In Memory of Friend, Family, Parents & Grandparents in the Church Triumphant
+ Memorialize an Event that is meaningful to you or your family

The pavers are 10 inches wide and 8 inches high. A  Paver may have up to 4 lines of text with a maximum of 15 characters per line. A paver can have a total of 40 characters. The tax deductible fee for having the paver created and installed is $100.  Click here to make the payment online. The payment may also be dropped off or mailed to Church or placed in the worship offering with a note explaining it’s purpose.

The pavers are created with a very permanent weatherproof masonry material that will last until the second coming!

Mid-Winter Retreat

WHO: 3rd-6th Grade Students and parents of Saint Andrew.

WHEN: Friday, January 25 (6:30-7:00 pm) – Sunday, January 27 (11 am)

WHAT: For the past few years, there has been a retreat for the younger members of Saint Andrew to get out to camp, have fun playing and exploring in the snow with friends and Pastors, do group building activities and games, interactive Bible studies and worship – all in God’s beautiful creation. We will spend two nights away at Waypost camp near Hatley, Wisconsin – about a 30 minute drive from church.

WHERE: Waypost Camp near Hatley, WI. Waypost Camp near Hatley, Wisconsin. We will stay in a fully winterized lodge with bunk rooms and fireplaces. We will meet out at camp between 6:30-7pm on Friday night.

NEXT STEPS: Complete this form to reserve a spot. Before January 16th, 2019: + Complete the Permission and Emergency Contact form. + Have your child complete the Participant Agreement. +Send or submit the $45 cost of the retreat to Saint Andrew. The cost includes two nights lodging, meals and program.

WHAT TO BRING: Sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, warm clothes (layers for play inside and out), boots, slippers, flashlight, Bible, favorite board game, and a snack to share.

    In the event of a medical emergency, I hereby authorize staff or volunteers representing Saint Andrew Lutheran Church of Wausau, WI to act in the best interests of my child. Such persons may authorize all necessary medical and/or surgical procedures that they deem vital for the health of the person represented above. I understand that every effort will be made to contact me and that medical or surgical procedures will be implemented only in the event that I cannot be contacted. I assume all risk for, any injury, illness, death, or property damage, which could occur during this church-related activity. I am solely responsible for all medical costs or property damages.
