The SALC Quilter gather on the Tuesdays of the month to sew quilts and make school bags for a variety of local organizations and for Lutheran World Relief. Saint Andrew quilters also make “Alzheimer Mats” for local nursing homes that help patients with dementia interact with familiar items to bring comfort. Join the quilting bee for good conversation, fellowship and a favorite task, quilting! The quilters are always looking for donations of extra fabric and supplies to help with their efforts
Ministry Night is an evening where our various ministries gather to connect, collaborate, and coordinate programs and activities at Saint Andrew. If a ministry is meeting some other night of the month, they will have a representative available to share and collect information relevant to the various ministries. If you are interested in serving your church, no better way to start than to come to a Ministry Night. The meetings begin and end in the Sanctuary. Make your mom or motherly figure something special on Mother's Day! Create a one-of-a-kind stone magnet that she will treasure for a lifetime. Blank card stock and card decorating supplies will also be available for you to write your own special sentiment to that special mom in your life.

If you’ve wanted to do some art, but not sure where to start, please sign up and come play with some paint! Never painted before? No worries. Pam Clark will host this fun and inspirational class. She will gently guide you on your journey into abstract and/or some realism of your choice. Suggested donation for supplies is $10.00 plus the price of your canvas. Canvas sizes range from 8 x 10 ($2) to 11 x 14 ($5) and up. Heavy duty canvases with thicker frames are available and prices reflect this. A large selection of canvas sizes is available. All proceeds go toward renewing art supplies for these classes. Sign up by calling Pam Clark at 715-848-9120 to let her know what dates you would like. Due to Covid, class size will be limited to ten people and mask wearing is required.
On May 14th, starting at 9:00 a.m, come out and help us keep our stretch of highway NN looking good and healthy for the environment! Ages 10 and up are welcome, kids/youth under 16 years of age will a need supervising adult with them. We will provide the safety vests and garbage bags. Please dress for the weather and bring gloves. Sturdy shoes/boots highly recommended. NO open-toed shoes or sandals!!
